Mike continued laughing, leaning in and taking a good look at Texas’s surroundings before a toothy grin emerged. “It really has been too long..” He mumbled before picking up in volume. “I’m doing much better now! How’s everything going on your end?”
Texas chuckled with a nod of his head. It was good to see Mike again, even if it wasn’t yet in person.
“Good to hear! Texas is- Oop, hang on a sec.”
He paused for a second in order to turn and bow towards the ninja-like figure that had appeared next to him- likely the one he was throwing earlier- before turning back to Mike.
“But yeah anyways Texas is doin’ good. I miss Jules and you and everyone else, but this is somethin’ Texas couldn’t pass up! You’re still watchin’ over Burnercow, right? She’s gotta be gettin’ big an’ strong now huh? Pretty soon when I get home we’ll be able to kick Kane butt together! WA-CHAAA~”
It was mostly on a whim, Mike trying to communicate with his own Burners again. Various frequencies had been cut off, but there was one that still managed to work. Surprised, The brunet picked his head up as a connection was made, fuzzy but still there. "Hello...? Texas! Texas, is that you??!" He smiled brightly, his voice an excitable tone.
“TEXAAAASSSSSSSS~”
is the first thing Mike hears from the other end of the connection, followed by the sound of a body being flung halfway across a room. Static followed for a second before the face of the burly burner appeared on screen. He grinned back at Mike as he wiped the sweat from his brow.
“Hey hey Mikey! Been too long little buddy! How’s Texas’s favorite leader doin’?”
